I see why.
There are things that go on here that to tell, would be "honest" but not really "honoring"...
People do tend to remember the bad and yes, I'll admit that it really can be interesting.
But to tell everything that truly goes on and for you to remember all of that may not feel that honoring to my children on down the road.
But to tell everything that truly goes on and for you to remember all of that may not feel that honoring to my children on down the road.
I am not one for keeping secrets or just not telling things.
Things DO happen... life is not always happy-go-lucky and picture bookishly perfect.
Usually if something does happen that's odd or unusual I have no problem talking about it. After all, it DID happen, right?
And yes, we have days that are so far from even fun that I can't quite believe it.
Days that hold events that I never thought {or even wanted} to see happen.
But...
I am not giving all the nitty gritty details here.
My children do still have to grow up.
Yes, they will, like myself, do things that someday I'm certain they will not be too proud of.
I intend to look for the good in them and our circumstances.
Each person at this house is created in the image of Him and He does have a purpose for each of us and for what happens in our lives.
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Jeremiah 29:11
:)
And just to note, nothing terrible has happened here! We're all still alive and really getting along well. I am refering to minor events in the scope of life. The normal daily "stuff" we're dealing with!
Ahem, proof. |

Great words...Anna!!
Absolutely true. It's such a blessing to focus on the good things in life! (Phil. 4:8)
P.S. Perfect picture to show Halli's future prospects!:) Being a 2 year old has its perks!:)
Totally understand, Anna. Appreciate you thinking of your childrens future so lovingly. I am still praying for you to get rest and that God will bring the right ppl into your life to help with the "stuff". Love, Sherri
Yes! So refreshing to see parents not only loving their children but RESPECTING them and honoring them as the amazing adults you pray they will someday become. You are sewing seeds to not only be the best mommy in the world but their best friend!
