Date {In} Night

So what do you do when you are not supposed to leave the {2 new} kiddos with anyone who is not a licensed foster parent and you really feel like you need a "date night"?

Well... you stick every one in bed by 8:00 and cook up dinner for just the 2 of you! And in our case, neither of us were too hungry and both so tired we decided on hot dogs. Yep. For our date. :)

We also had little visitors about every 5 minutes that had to keep being shuttled back to bed.

Yesterday was wonderful for me! :)

A very sweet friend came and spent the morning with us! I got the privilege of having adult conversation for a continuous hours... of course with multiple times of interruption.

We went on another Gator ride... to see the almonds in full bloom.

And then to find the "pink" orchard... which, luckily for us, was being pruned so we snagged 2 of the big prunings and took them home! I now have a beautiful pitcher full of pink Nectarine blooms keeping my kitchen cheerful company!

Last evening, we turned on some music for the kiddos as they thought dancing seemed to be a great way to rev up for bedtime...

So dance they did!

What fun...
