the Lene Quilt Fundraiser

Did you notice little Miss Lene in the right side bar?

Lene had caught my eye on Reece's Rainbow back in October, and I have totally fallen in love with her.

When we signed up with Reece's Rainbow to be prayer warriors  around the beginning of February, we were assigned Lene, which was amazing and I'm beyond thrilled!

Lene has been available for adoption for almost 4 years now. 

She NEEDS a family!

Although there have been many inquiries over the past few years, no family has committed to bringing Lene home forever. 

As Lene's prayer warriors, we've committed to praying for her until her family finds her.

We've also decided to raise funds to help her family with the adoption expenses. 

We believe there is a family out there who will welcome Lene with open hearts and arms and she will have the loving, safe, home she deserves.

This is where you come in!

Lene will be 4 years old on March 8th. What if her family committed then?

Wouldn't that be awesome?

In honor of Lene's 4 year old birthday and in an effort to bring her home,

we are selling raffle tickets for
the Lene Quilt Fundraiser!

About the Lene Quilt:

The Lene Quilt is a happy, rainbow printed, chevron quilt. It is perfectly sized to 33.5 x 40 inches, not too big, not too small. Excellent for a baby, toddler or child to use as a comfort blanket of just to snuggle with! The front is done in red with small white polka dots, yellow, green with white polka dots, aqua blue and white zig-zags. Back is happy, carefree zoo animals: monkeys, giraffes, elephants and lions, all having a good time! Binding is done with a fun, orange piece.

All fabrics are 100% cotton, pre-shrunk and pre-washed to avoid shrinking and color bleeding.

Ready to use!
Please Note: I did make this quilt, and although I do think it's made "well", I do NOT claim to be any type of professional seamstress!! :)

Here's how it works:

Each $4.00 donation in honor of Lene's 4th Birthday

(tax deductible, directly to Reece's Rainbow for Lene's fund)

is worth one raffle ticket!

So:
$4.00 = 1 raffle ticket
$8.00 = 2 raffle tickets
$20 = 5 raffle tickets
and so on.
