What. A. Week! 

I love my life and this past week I have absolutely loved getting to watch God open hearts and hands in the Quilt Fundraiser. God has moved mountains for little Lene; and even though she does not have a committed family yet, I am positive God has wonderful things in store for her! If He can take a silly little quilt and turn it into $1500, He can find a family for Lene! 

In other news around here... Spring!! Hooray! Warmer weather, sunshine, outdoor play.. Yay!! We've got lots to do outside and it's becoming harder and harder for me to keep myself and the children inside!! :)

"Mom, if you would cut right here on this line, I would have a skirt AND a shirt and I could wear them a lot more!"

Foretaste of what this summer may be like...

Regardless how much they chew up things, leave piles in the yard, get out of their pen.... THIS makes it worth it!!

After proving to the children that I could, in fact, do the orange peel teeth trick, one child (who had happened to have a very rough day) stated, "This has been such a fun day!"

How tall are you?

Little Lene-love! God is doing great things! 

I admit, as I celebrated my birthday in Portland, surrounded by family and people who love me, I had a hard time not thinking of Lene. What was she doing on our birthday? Did anyone hug her? Does she know she is loved and that Somebody thinks she's special? 

And then something amazing happened... An acquaintance who *just so happens* to live in the same city as Lene and who *just so happened* to be wanting to visit an orphanage and who *just so happened* to be a believer and who *just so happens* to have been born into a family who has ministered to foster children for many years emailed me. 

Guys, GOD IS INTO DETAILS!!! 

He is orchestrating something amazing! It looks as if Lene will be getting a visitor!! Someone who can hug her! Someone who can hold her and tell her she's special! Someone who can tell her precious, little self that Jesus loves HER! Oh, I can hardly stand it!!! I am in awe! I am so thankful!! What an awesome God we serve!!

Never, ever underestimate what a seemingly small act of obedience or that tug on your heart can do!! If God can use me, He can use YOU, too!!
