Hello hello!
I just switched my internet program (or whatever you call it) from Internet Explorer to Google Chrome and everything is crazy different. Even the look of my blog. sigh. So if you've been wondering why I've been blasting you with enormous pictures that don't even fit in your screen, here's the answer. They were small and perfectly viewable with Internet Explorer. But obviously quite mammoth in Google Chrome. So. Sorry. :)
I have no plans to go back and resize everything, but from here on out, I'll try to keep them decently sized!!
This week we did Scott and Halli's birthday celebration on the day of their birthday with our immediate family. We had my side of the family over for dinner Saturday evening for a combined party for Scott, Halli and my sister in law, Karianne. They'd chosen Spaghetti and French bread, Salad and Applesauce. And Halli begged for Pumpkin Pie instead of cake... so that's what we did!
On Sunday, we had Luke's side of the family over for lunch and celebrated Scott, Halli and their cousin, Lincoln's birthdays. We did Make-Your-Own Mini Pizzas and Salad, Applesauce and Scott and Lincoln approved the use of a DQ Icecream Cake.
That made for a very fun but busy weekend!
Somehow, we also managed to get the flowerbeds cleaned out, the chicken pen ready for spring (think like 10 wheelbarrow loads of poo hauled to the garden), the barn cleaned out, some interior walls painted, 11 blinds hung, and a bunch of other odd jobs done. Whew! By Sunday night we were bushed and we all went to bed early!
So... Here are the few pictures of the past week:
This guy...
Happy Birthday, Son!
He loves food! :) His birthday meal choice was Pesto Chicken served over Rainbow noodles, Garlic bread, Salad, Strawberries, and Chocolate cake... topped of with VANILLA CREAM SODA as a little "extra" treat! (as if we needed more...)
Wednesday the tribe and I pulled off 7.5 hours in town. And we survived. Gah!!
Chalkboard update... plus a little hand.
Riley framed cousin Ivie's picture with his most prized possessions: Glasses case and Laser Gun
Baby loves his boots
Miss Lene has a fundraiser coming up!! Stay tuned for more!!
I'm super duper excited!!
Trey loves the tractor and Luke pleased him with a little ride on Saturday
I think it's safe to say he enjoyed the Cool Whip.
(And was super hyper afterwards...)

I use Chrome and I like the picture size. =)
Cannot believe you prepped gardens for spring! We're still burried under feet and feet of snow here in Michigan!!
