Proof and Praise!

I am wanting to share a Praise Report...

I am praising Jesus and His healing for Quinn. We've had a huge (to us) event take place here this past week.

Quinn had a little "accident."

Not a huge issue, but when this has happened in the past, it very quickly escalates into something VERY large. Normally, he'd try to hide it, and once discovered, go to great lengths to deny it. This event-cycle usually involved the lie, much denial, "Alzheimer's episodes," refusal to change into clean clothes, screaming and attempts to triangulate of Luke and myself. One little accident could set off a chain of events that would take all hands on deck to diffuse the situation.

Buuuuut....

Huge difference this time! The accident happened. Quinn IMMEDIATELY came to me and told me exactly what had happened! No lying, no denying, not blaming someone/thing else, nothing! Just truth and complete honesty! Needless to say, I was floored! I laid the praise on thick and heavy about how proud I was with his quick ownership of the problem and how brave he was to just come tell me right away and how he's building trust and on and on. He promptly cleaned himself up and asked to mop up the floor!! He proceeded to move on with his day with a cheerful and obedient attitude.

We made sure to tell Luke all about his victory once he'd gotten home. It was a very amazing moment in this household! Definitely something worth a praise report...

The next week will be shaken up a little as it involves a wedding, some family functions and new faces. If you wouldn't mind praying for us (Q, especially) we would appreciate it very much! Also-- the flu seems to be flying around... We'd be thrilled to miss out on this round!!
