Princess Hair

With the exception of tiny trimmings, it's been 20 months since Halli has had her hair cut.
There are a few reasons...
1) I like it long
2) She wanted "princess hair"
3) it's much easier to let it grow than to try and hold her (sobbing and ducking) while we paid someone else to do it!

But there were a few struggles with the long(er) hair:
1) The TANGLES!!
2) The sobbing while it was brushed or combed
3) The dreaded hair washing (with more sobbing)

So... After 20 months of this, we decided today that enough was enough. And I cut her hair. And I'm not, by any stretch of the imagination, a beautician!

She decided she can still be a princess-- even with shorter hair... I decided I like it even short (although its not quite as fun to do) and we didn't have to have a fight while trying to allow somebody else to cut it! It's not exactly perfect, ahem, BUT it's done!!
