2015 Church Conference

Our church has conference each year, where families from other congregations get together and have a fantastic time. There are many activities planned, services to attend, youth events, projects and teaching, and rumor has it, it's always lots of fun. Conference rotates throughout the United States, but this was the first time it was ever held in Oregon! We have went one other time, 5 years ago, when it was in Ohio. We had a wonderful time; we met many, many new friends, stayed up WAY too late, heard encouraging preaching and ate so much delicious food. Our children enjoyed meeting new friends and playing ping-pong, carpet ball, basketball, air hockey, swinging on a huge swing, staying up late, and of course, eating in the snack shop! :)

I didn't manage to take many picture of adults (I always feel somewhat awkward doing that!) but I have quite a few pictures of the children. After conference was over, some new friends from Iowa decided to come up and see where we live. We were blessed to have them spend a couple of nights and enjoy more time getting to know their family.
