Laa-aaa-aaa-aAAAaa!

(Just got home from choir practice....)

Turns out it's quite FUN! (for me!) I'm enjoying getting to sit for an hour every Monday and get to know and talk with other local homeschool moms! The children are LOVING choir days so far and I hope it continues...

In other news, we [finally] started school today! With August and the first part of September being off the charts busy with family/church events (wedding, moving days, revivals...) we decided to get most of that over with before starting school.

Excitement was HIGH and our first day went well...

I'm hoping a little more routine will be good, I'm sure for me it will!

Tuesday morning Luke brought home 2 more baby kittens that needed bottle fed...

They've been bathed and are getting some lovin' here

They were named Puff and Snowball.... Puff took a distasterous spill that resulted in his death on Wednesday.

Poor Snowball was so distraught when Puff died he refused to eat and regardless how much we tried and tried to feed/hold/love him, he died this morning. :(

School is in session!

Riley is doing CLE's Learning To Read program as well as Saxon Math

Scott is doing Rod and Staff's ABCDEFG books

All 4 of the children are doing Rod and Staff's Bible Stories to Read booklets

Q and H's "seat work" is done... now on to the play work!
