Disgusting!!!
Horrific, in fact.
The van smells terrible and I have no idea what to do!
The jug just split wide open when we went over the bump, spraying milk clear up to the ceiling of the van... It's been wiped up as best as possible, Febreezed and then scrubbed again...
Any ideas?!

Ugg! So sorry...! Best advise I could tell you is to spend the extra money and get the van detailed and tell them that spilled milk is your problem. I have an Uncle who had that same thing happen to them like 12+ years ago, and they can still smell the spoiled milk smell every summer when the van gets hot in the sun. So hopefully you can treat it properly (extra expense = sigh) so that you can avoid that same problem of never getting rid of the smell. Just thought I would share my 2 cents. :)
Oh Anna! That sounds AWFUL. I don't have any suggestions other than maybe a vinegar/water mix? Vinegar is great at getting smells out but I don't know if it would fade color???
Not sure what I would do either, other than pour hot water on the carpet and then right away suck it up with a shop vac. Then I'd probably do clean hot soapy water again and soak it up - afterward put a fan on it! Hard work, but hopefully would work. (speaking from having to get throw up out of carpet!). :). Love ya!
Oh, yes, we know JUST what to do! We had the EXACT same thing happen to us, except the jug (of fresh from the cow) milk tipped over & glug, glug, glug, it emptied it's contents before we could even come to a stop. We were also way far away from home when this happened... in WI to be exact! Daniel will call Luke tomorrow with how he took care of it. The effort & time he put into cleaning it up was worth it because we can't smell a thing... even on hot days!
