This guy... He had state testing done and the lady saw him drooling over the microscopes. When we finished, she asked if he'd like to borrow one FOR THE SUMMER!!! He was delighted, and I'd have thought he'd won a million bucks. Soon after we'd gotten home, he'd examined everything from skin, hair, teeth, scabs, spit, boogers and fingernail clippings, on to leaves, grass, flower petals, bugs, live ants, and butterfly wings to sugar, salt, and pepper... Then he looks at me and says, "I want to see blood!" What's a mom to do?! So I pricked my finger and he examined my blood with great awe... :)

Allll day.....

Having company this night, so naturally they feel the need to make as much mess as possible. Sigh.
