Story of my Life

We do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin.
Hebrews 4:15

My favorite blossoms in all the orchards have to be the plum blossoms... They're not the most prolific. Not the brightest. Not the most colorful. And not even the most showy. But I think the way the down-growing branches look with the delicate, creamy blossoms on them, they have to be the most graceful. And grace is something that I need God to continue to work with me on. I want to have it it so badly, for my family, my friends and strangers.

Only one of my six children like avocados... But I mixed chopped rotessori chicken with 1.5 avocados, some cilantro, a couple tablespoons of mayo, and some salt and pepper. The groans, ewwws, and borderline tears when they saw lunch turned into yums, delicious-es, and can I have another ones one I {strongly encouraged} them to take a bite!! Yay for avocados!

Irrigation, peonies and tulips! SPRING!!

100 pounds of chicken later... Whew! 55 quarts and 25 pints of dry beans too!

A morning at the barn with our wonderful Mrs. Parker and her {huge} thoroughbred draft horse, Sofia!

He thought this was pretty amazing...!

Saturday morning jive in the aftermath of a fun Friday night of company, cousins overnight and chaos!

Chinese Elm trees and gardens: here's the deal, all those vivid green things are SEEDS which will fall... And then sprout... And then I will spend h-o-u-r-s pulling them out of my garden. So this year I had a stroke of brilliance come across me and I'm attempting to build screens for over the top of my garden beds.... We shall see if it works! {I'm hopeful!}

Cat nap?

Lots of boy jokes, wrestling, football, garden help, bow and arrow shooting, Mexican food eating, and now they're on their secon orange soda... I'd say it's been a good Saturday!

A fun Sunday afternoon hike up a canyon trail with friends

And there, just 3-4 feet off the trail was a large rattlesnake, just rattling to beat all!! We quickly zipped on by! Eek!!

Beautiful view!

Have a grand week!!

The pic of your garden shocks me!! We still have some snow in our yard & NO green leaves anywhere! That rattlesnake! Eek!! That's one thing I do not miss while living in the Midwest. Loved your thoughts on the plum blossoms. God's grace never runs out as He answers my continual prayers for more of His grace.
