It has been a while since I've written another collection of the hilarious things I've overheard around here.... so here goes:
In regards to the White Chicken Chili for dinner:
Scott says enthusiastically, "This is SO good, Mom! I'd take 1,000 bowls of it!"
Riley, a bit sheepishly says "You can have 999 plus mine..."
Luke took Trey with him on a 5 hr each way work-trip into Oregon. They left at 5:30 am and by 7:00 pm, they were about an hour from home. Trey said, "Dad, I just feel like fussing. But I know us big guys don't fuss, so could you just take me home now?"
Halli playing Carrom with the boys:
"I always get to go first. I'm a lady and ladies ALWAYS go first."
Walking into Costco, Quinn says, "Man I hope they have lots of EXAMPLES today; I'm HUNGRY!"
Trey: "Mom, why do we always sing about LIES in church?"
Me: "WHAT?!"
Trey: "A lie, a lie, a lie forever more...."
(Alive, alive, alive forever more!)
Trey goes to the zoo with G'pa & G'ma. They allow him to pick out a stuffed animal. He chooses a neon, sparkly, big eyed, leopard... Named Leona. They tried to convince him to get the elephant, the lion, the giraffe, anything but Leona the (girl) Leopard. But he maintained his choice, reasoning Coon (his stuffed raccoon) needed a wife!!
If some is good, more is better, right?! Well, NOT in all things. Regarding candy conversation hearts, it is especially true. "But you always say to do a little extra, mom!" says Riley.
(Sure, I see how this is my fault now. Right.)
Scott flying his drone...
He crashes...
"Man! I lost my contractions!!"
While discussing (yet another) tumble he had taken, Trey said, "Well mom, some of us are just kind of awkward! You and me are awkward, right?"
Trey: "Good night, sweep tight, don't let the whatever bugs bite!"
What are some of the funnies you have heard recently?

"Why are you so needy?" said by one of my big boys when I asked them again to climb up and get something down for me. Then we all laugh.
Me: Joel, where is your blanket?
Joel: (Shrugs) It's losting!
He pretty much adds -ing to everything. :-)
I always think that every mom could write a comic book :) These little guys keep the laughs coming! Loved this round up of hilariousness :)
In regards to a CD left out, "mom, what's that ABC doing right there?!" 😜
