Last Few Days...

The last few days have been fun... and busy. And definitely an improvement! Hooray!

All by myself! :)
On Friday the children and I took a walk to see our neighbors' goats, sheep, turkeys and chickens. They are quite the entertainment so it was fun. I pulled the wagon down there with Quinn and Halli in it then had them all take turns pulling it back so they all had to walk! ;) Get them good and tired out!
Luke got out his guitar that evening and Riley and Phoenix played theirs with him for a while.

Beautiful day!
:)
Phoenix's find for the day...

Saturday we had planned to work outside and clean out the shop but it was raining... so we loaded up and went to Pasco to see if we could get some tractor rides. Grandpa Rumble did not disappoint and they all loaded up in a COMBINE and went for a drive. Yes, seriously. :) While Luke and Dad grilled fish for dinner, the children played outside in the rain and got absolutely filthy and wet... so Shelly brought up some huge tee shirts and we got them all changed for dinner. Then the acrobats started... flips off the couches, tumbles off the foot rests... and the running... Oh my. Grandma's house might never be the same! Oh, not forgetting the incredible amount of rice on the floor from dinner. :P

Sunday we didn't have church, due to most of our group being out of town. We had planned to take a Mater the Gator ride and a picnic lunch but once again it was raining... so we hung out at home. Stephen came to meet the boys and then after naps, Luke, Stephen, Riley and Phoenix went to see the airplane in Yakima. We made home-made Chicken Nuggets for dinner that seemed to go over great! :)

Now it's Monday... those seem to roll around quickly. The fab four are playing "farm" with all the little plastic animals they can find, including snakes, lizards and sharks that keep coming to me to be petted... you know, because they are nice. Tractors are all over the living room too.

Last night Phoenix told us he had decided he would like to stay here with us forever...!

Oh, Anna, you are being SUCH a good mommy! You are doing the most important stuff right now, memories and bonding to last a lifetime! I'm sure you feel "out of the loop" as you stay at home and care for your lil munchkins, but it is soooo worth it!!! We are praying for you and your family! Bless you and Luke as you are being Jesus' hands and feet to these little ones! May He give you strength, patience, wisdom and love for each moment.

We love you,
Merle, Rachel, Benton and Wilson
